Protection plans

Three protection plans, one per car. Compare the deductible, the liability limit and whether roadside is included. All of it is set per island and shown on the listing before you book.

Every Roadelle host chooses a protection plan per vehicle, and every trip stores the exact plan version in force when it was booked.

Shield has the lowest out-of-pocket exposure. Roadelle keeps the largest share of the trip price, and eligible physical damage is covered above the guest deposit with no host deductible.

Balance is the default: a moderate share, with a capped per-incident deductible.

Max has the highest earnings share and the highest deductible, for hosts who would rather price the risk themselves.

Exact percentages, deductibles and liability limits are set per market, because the underlying insurance arrangement differs by jurisdiction. Open any vehicle listing to see the numbers that apply to that specific trip.

Roadelle does not underwrite. Physical damage and liability arrangements are provided by an insurance partner contracted for each market, and the policy document version applicable to your booking is attached to your trip record.

No insurance partner is contracted in any market yet, and no market has completed legal review. Until that is done, the plans above describe how protection is structured and priced, not cover you can rely on. LEGAL REVIEW REQUIRED.
